The Fly or Drive Calculator of Befrugal will help you determine the more practical way to get to your travel destination. The more details you give the system the better it can crunch possibilities for you.

How To Survive Jet Lag!

PD*28215206

If you are an avid traveler, there are a ton of different things that you have to deal with.  To be perfectly honest, if you travel a lot out of the country or at least out of the time zone that you are used to, you probably have a very hard time dealing with jet lag – however, I have some tips and tricks to help you deal with it!

For one, you want to make sure that you drink plenty of water!  You all know that the airplanes are very, very dry and you want to keep the water coming.  it is honestly even in a good idea to bring a small spray bottle of water to keep your skin hydrated, especially when you are on a long flight.

You also want to avoid drinking alcohol, as that can certainly weigh you down and can definitely hurt you more than help you.

Kevin Smith — Booted From A Southwest Flight … What?

kevin smithOkay, so this is something that outrages me, this weekend – this particular weekend, Kevin Smith.  Kevin friggin’ smith actually got kicked off of a Southwest flight because they said that he was too fat to fly.  Is that true?  Is he really too fat to fly?  Even though he could lower the armrests all the way down and buckle his seatbelt all the way down, they still kicked him off of the flight.

Of course, Kevin Smith took offense to this and he of course – of, friggin’, course he tweeted about it and that, alone caused a lot of outraged fans, which of course made Southwest look bad.

Although the airline apologized, I still think that I will not be flying on Southwest … ever.

A quick guide to airline bereavement fares

untitled

When it comes to flying for a funeral, I can tell you that there are many things that are probably going through your mind and the last thing that you want to think about is the price of airfare.  The unexpected happens and I can tell you that when you are already going through a troubled time, just getting home is something that you want to be doing.  Well, the airlines understand that and I can tell you that they are actually offering up bereavement fares nowadays.

What you can expect is that you will have to discuss your current situation with the airline though, most of them are more than willing to help you but you want to make sure that they know exactly why you are flying so that they can make it as painless and as easy as possible.
A lot of the time, you can actually find yourself a cheaper airfare if you let them know that you are flying for bereavement.
